Lake Nakuru Lodge
Situated in the South East Ecological niche of the park is Lake Nakuru Lodge, an oasis of comfort and excellent service, with commanding views of the lesser flamingo dotted with the Greater Flamingo for which Lake Nakuru is justly famous.
It is another world for the visitor, where one easily forgets the hustle and bustle of the city.
The lodge blends well with its surrounding and the animals often browse peacefully close to the lodge and environs, much to the fascination of the visitors.
Access
Lake Nakuru Lodge is located 180Km from Nairobi, within the Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley.
Closest airstrip is the Naishi airstrip.
Accommodation
Accommodating up to 300 guests, all rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor that is replicated throughout the lodge.
The luxury rooms comprise two four-poster beds and views of the Savannah, which one can enjoy from the comfort of one’s balcony or terrace.
NOTE: There are a number of rooms specifically designed to cater for disabled guests close to the reception.
Paved paths, lit by night, lead from one’s room to the reception and restaurant areas.
Facilities
Meals are taken at the Mutarakwa Restaurant. Breakfast, lunch are buffet while dinner is table d’hote. BBQ dinners on the garden terraces are regularly arranged.
Mama Nikki Bar, on the ground floor and the Rhino Paddock Cocktail Bar on the 1St floor, both with a spectacular view of the Lake, offer snacks and drinks during the day. Also available are Bush BBQ at the pool Area and Bish Breakfasts.
