Rhino River Camp

Rhino River Camp is a quiet and exclusive retreat with a collection of just eight luxury cottages made out of canvas and local hardwood.

The cottages of Rhino River Camp are set amongst the trees of the pristine forest bordering the Kindani River.

Spacious and very comfortable, and blending in with the surrounding forest, they make the perfect retreat and ideal location from which to feel part of the living, breathing environment of the forest.

Location
Rhino River Camp is located approximately 120 miles north-east of Nairobi in beautiful open country on the banks of the Kindani River on the western border of the Meru National Park.

Accommodation
The eight luxury and uniquely designed canvas cottages of the Camp are built on wooden decks suspended among the trees of the pristine forest edging Kindani river.

The rooms are large, and set on decks at different levels blending with the tree canopy.

They make the perfect retreat and ideal location from which to feel part of the living, breathing environment of the riverine forest.

Each room has a view over the river with sweeping boughs of raffia palms, yellow fever trees, and tamarinds.
