Kinondo Kwetu is a small, all-inclusive luxury resort. But beyond the accommodations, food, and amenities one would expect, it also offers another kind of luxury. We are talking about the luxury of peace and quiet.
Of freedom and rest. No pumping music at the pools. No noise from crowds at the bar. No jostling for space on the beach. No roaming trinket sellers.
Kinondo Kwetu is a home, not an entertainment centre. We think you will love it as much as we do.
Kinondo Kwetu is situated on the south coast of Kenya, 1 ½ hours ride south from Mombasa, on the beach of the Indian Ocean. With room for no more than 38 guests, you will always find your own private spot at Kinondo Kwetu, which makes it a very special hideaway for honeymooners.
It is also the perfect place to gather family or friends for a private celebration or wedding. With two kitchens in separate buildings, the place can easily be divided into two, making it possible for companies of 10-20 or 30-40 to stay for themselves. It is also the ideal spot for corporate retreats.

Cottages
Cottage 1, 2 & 3: All 3 are Double bedroom cottages with ensuite bathroom and wooden verandas & ceiling fans.
Cottage 4: 1 Double bedroom connecting to a Single bedroom, separate entrance, shared ensuite bathroom and wooden veranda.
Cottage 5: 2 floor cottage.
Upstairs: 1 Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and balcony, separate entrance from the outside.
Downstairs: 1 Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom connecting to a Single bedroom with bathroom. Separate entrance. 20 meters from the beach.
Mama Taa
Double Room: 2 rooms in Mama Taa Villa are Double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. Ceiling fans, veranda/balcony.
Double Twin: 3 rooms in Mama Taa Villa are Double bedroom connecting to Twin bedroom. 2 ensuite bathroom/room. Ceiling fans. Double bedrooms have sea view.
Anderson Room: Suite. Perfect for honeymooners or family with young children. There is enough space to sleep 2-3 younger children. Andersson’s room is Air-conditioned, has an ensuite bathroom and has a small fridge. Ceiling fans & balcony.
Mama Tina Villa
Mainhouse has 1 Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. 2 Single bedrooms with sharing bathroom. Separate entrances. One of the Single rooms has seaview.
Dining
Your three-course lunch is taken on the beach, in the soothing shade of trees or in our boathouse by the sea. Your dinner may be served under a clear moonlit sky or in the water tower. At Kinondo Kwetu, there is no fixed dining area.
To serve your dinners, we take advantage of the many different charming spots in the garden, on the beach or in the houses. We have a set three-course menu for lunch and dinner. A key ingredient is local fish, caught each morning by Kinondo village fishermen, using traditional methods.
